“After watching my father struggle with complications due to cancer, I looked at ‘health’ differently. As something we often take for granted, we only have one body and it’s our responsibility to care for it. I value my health more than ever and I love pushing myself to reach new goals. My motivation is to live a life with a healthy body capable of achieving anything I would like it to.”

Phil Valenti | Push Yourself

The Valenti name in Rochester is synonymous with sports – the family is the proud owner of Valenti Sports. Phil primarily made his mark on the basketball court, where he played at the collegiate level at Monroe Community College and Hamilton College, and professionally in Spain, Ireland, and Rochester. He continues his involvement in the local sports community playing in multiple basketball leagues, as a State Champion in Pickleball, and as the founder of Rochester Area Players – a developmental basketball program for 4th – 12th grade students.

Phil commitment extends off the court too, starting his own charity called Push Yourself, which stresses the importance of doing the right thing and promoting students to achieve more intellectually, socially, environmentally, and physically. Push Yourself donates proceeds to local charities, and provides a scholarship to a local high school Senior.
